I'm baaack

Hello everyone! OK so a year is quite a long time. I know. However this past year has been a supreme learning experience. Lucid Exposure, my student dance company was started last year, and due to an unfortunate studio ownership change lost it's home. We were able to keep it up long enough to perform at THE PULSE an event where the students got to take class and perform in front of such dance moguls as Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Dave Scott, Laurie Ann Gibson and Shane Sparks. It was the last time Lucid Exposure the student co. performed, and due to a parent spreading bad blood the group has not been back together since. This genuinely effected me, I put my heart and soul into teaching these girls and maintaining this group even after the death of their studio and was broken hearted at the loss. But it was a necessary growing pain in my life I discovered that I am highly capable of running a dance company and as a result will be launching my first professional Dance company this August Lucid Exposure (in honor of the students who came up with the name) it's going to be a Contemporary Co. for 18 and over professional dancers. So watch out for the announcement for the auditions!!!
In other news I have been battling illness, I am improving drastically but for a period of time all I was doing was going to work and sleeping (a lot of sleeping). However I am also looking at this as a positive, starting to feel healthy can really inspire you to use energy you've been lacking for so long towards your goals. So here I am back on the web and keep watching b/c I am going to be blowing up!!!
